The overlap between sizes is intentional. If your measurements fall in the shared range, choose the smaller size for a closer, more secure fit.
GardeWear is underwear first. It is engineered to fit close and stay there.
For pull-on styles, we recommend sizing down if you fall between two sizes. The leg guards work by staying in contact with your body — that contact is what prevents bypass. As the product fills and becomes heavier, a closer fit maintains that contact. A looser fit means the guards pull away from the body, and that is where leaks happen.
If you are comfortably within a size range — not on the boundary — stay in your size. If you are on the boundary, go smaller.
